Hi girls,
this is just for girls to make them aware that waist lines from actresses of old times like Audrey Hepburn might have been stunning but the reality is that those waist lines have been created by wearing corsets over a long period of time.
The organs have been permanently replaced and sometimes even damaged by this special lingerie.
You also have to have a very weak core for wearing those things as when there are strong core muscles they are less likely to be squeezed and pressed so much.
Also>
(and now I’m going to have a little bit of a rant towards girls who wanna have visible bones everywhere…which is very unhealthy)
If you want visible ribs then stop any core exercise! Because your core muscles will COVER your ribs. What is seen with a strong core and low body fat is not your ribs but your serratus anterior and your obliques.
It’s up to you> starve yourself the unhealthy way and get visible ribs and hip bones OR (which is the BETTER alternative) make sport, eat healthy and enjoy your visible core muscles!
I know it’s hard to sometimes know what is muscle and what is the ribs and even my partner (who is in his 40ties) called me once a freak because he mixed up my hard earned obliques with ribs.
From a personal trainer perspective I can tell you that when I see any ribs on a slim body that this person has weak core muscles. I can also see that a girl with standing out hip bones has a weak lower abdomen…
This is NOTHING we should ever aim for as it’s unhealthy in any aspect. Or do you want to be one of those adults with posture and weight problems?
I’ll go more into detail about it another time.
Take care, eat your healthy meals, make sport and enjoy life,
Anne

Le freak, c’est chic!

Hi guys,

yesterday I let my biggest judge look at my new website. My toughest and meanest judge is, was and ever will be > my very own partner!

He had a look at it and said: “It’s okay. So far I found nothing to complain about…I think it’s just because I haven’t read all jet!”

But then he said: “I wouldn’t put one specific picture on your side. On this one you look like a freak. I can see all your bones on this one and people will think that you starve yourself to this figure!”

I was curious which one he meant…and after I’ve seen what he meant I was very angry!

I must say to his defense that my partner is very little into sports and not interested in any sort of fitness. He has never thought about visible muscles and any form of tone jet. He doesn’t know that visible abs are not just those six/eight squares of muscles you see in the belly area. He doesn’t know that there is much more to see on a defined and toned core rather then just the six pack in the front.

What he saw on this picture was actually not even close to what he thought it is. He mixed up my hard earned OBLIQUES with my RIBS.

Here is the photo of concern:

What you see on this picture is not ribs but my core muscles called obliques. As you can see they sit underneath my rib cage.

I was very angry with him of being called a freak just because of the fact people can see every single of my core muscles.

It is my job to be fit so I can’t really prevent my muscles from popping out…and actually> I’m proud of it!

Le freak, c’est chic!!! ;)

Take care and love yourself the way you are!

Stay toned!
