Sets done!

Hi guys,

sorry, had to do all of my 5 sets.

I must admit> I was cheating! I wasn’t supposed to train on my maximum today. There were still 2 more cycles to go ..means 2 training days and 2 rest days…and I normally would have tried my maximum in 4 days time but I was so curious about where I stand and if my routine works that I had to do it today.

The next days I’ll go back to my routine and you won’t be hearing anything fromĀ  my pull ups for around 3 weeks until it’s done…as I don’t find it very interesting for you guys to write my routines down each and every time;)

So, yeah, I was too nosy and couldn’t wait for any more days…

24 consecutive pull ups it is :)

It felt so different. Very smooth. Normally it started to get really uncomfortable at rep number 10 and the other 10 I was screaming and fighting though…

This time I started to feel uncomfortable at rep number 20 I would say and only the last 4 were really uncomfortable. That was interesting.

I also noticed that my recovery from it was MUCH better…I could still do 15/15/15/15 (I always do 5 sets, no matter how many reps) in my last 4 sets….normally when I give everything in my first set, then I lose performance in the next sets dramatically. So in the beginning of my pull up journey it was like 20/10/7/5/3…then at some point I could hold it a little better and it was something like 20/10/8/6/6…and now I can keep it up each and every set.

I can’t believe this!

I cannot even believe that I’m talking about my pull up routines like that…like it’s completely normal for me to do that.

For me, still, pull ups are THE dream exercise …the exercise I always wanted to be able to do since I was a little kid.

My full drive comes from nothing but this obsession.

I must say that each and every time I start my routine I get more and more scared. Yes, I’m literally scared of it as I’m always scared that I might not meet my target and feel sh*t all day because of it.

It feels a little bit like taking your weight while on a diet…this deep uncomfortable thrill of “have I lost weight”…

So it’s not nice…but compared to losing weight, pull ups are not going to kill me if I do more and more, so this thrill is actually productive.

Any way…

24…

24 consecutive full bodyweight pull ups!

I can’t believe it!
